About the role
Pathir’s core platform is built on AI-powered patient communication and workflow automation.
We’re hiring an AI/ML Engineer to push the boundaries of how models understand clinic workflows, patient inquiries, and context across multiple channels. You’ll work with product and engineering to bring advanced AI capabilities directly into the hands of clinic teams.
What you’ll be doing
Develop and fine-tune models for understanding patient messages, intent detection, and workflow automation.
Build evaluation pipelines to ensure model accuracy, reliability, and safety across clinic communications.
Collaborate with engineering to deploy AI features that scale across calls, chat, email, and social media.
Research new approaches to improve understanding of clinic workflows and patient interactions.
Work with product teams to transform complex clinic communication challenges into intelligent, automated workflows.
About you
3+ years of experience in machine learning, applied NLP, or AI for real-world workflows.
Strong background in LLMs, transformers, and text-based understanding of messages or documents.
Experience with Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar frameworks.
Ability to balance experimentation with shipping production-ready AI features.
Experience or interest in healthcare, patient communication, or domain-specific modeling is a plus.
